Content tagging

Tags are a special type of keyword that you can associate with content records. Tags help generate more successful search results, and the automatic population of content based on tags. All descendants of a content folder inherit the tags defined for the content folder.

Advanced Search content items specify tags that your users can select to narrow their search to a smaller set of tagged content records.

Content Tagged List content items specify various tags that generate a real-time list of links to tagged content records when the content record containing the Content Tagged List is viewed. Tagged list formats are used by Content Tagged List content items to format the rendered display of the list of links. The chosen tagged list format is applied as a display mask to each item in the list.

You cannot create ad hoc tags while defining content records. Instead, you must choose from a list of pre-defined tags that are usually defined by those who perform website management. This restriction ensures that your content is tagged with a centrally designed taxonomy, which provides more consistent and predictable search results.

Key features

  • Manage multiple websites and allow chapters or affiliates to manage their own websites.

Your organization will receive 100% (gross amount) of your money deposited on a daily bases.
  • Decline Minimizer: Decline Minimizer is a dream come true for any organization with repeat donors, recurring payments or membership dues. Every night, behind the scenes, Global Payments retrieves new data (expiration dates and 16-digit card numbers) for credit cards stored in our Cloud Data Vault. This ensures your future transactions process successfully, without interruption.

DEFERRED INCOME

Deferred income provides delayed recognition of income to coincide with when the income is earned to match when the related expenses are incurred, rather than when the invoice is generated or the funds are received. Deferred income credits a user-specified deferred income liability account rather than the regular income account when the transaction is initially entered.

iMIS manages the recognition of the appropriate income amounts as the income is earned, and generates the corresponding entries to transfer those amounts from the deferred income account to the regular income account in the general ledger.

Refunds

Perform full or partial refunds to credit card or debit card payments directly from iMIS. This important process will increase staff productivity as they will no longer need to go to the credit card processor to find the transaction and issue the credit in two applications.

General ledger export

General ledger transactions are generated as a byproduct of processing commerce activities. Creating general ledger transaction export files enable staff users to easily transfer important financial information from iMIS into separate accounting software system.

When the GL export procedure is run, the following actions are performed:

  • Only transactions in a posted batch are exported; if the transaction is included in a batch that is not posted, the transaction is not exported
  • The transactions are marked as exported so they are not picked up by any future exports
  • If you are licensed for deferred income, entries are created to move deferred income to current income in the appropriate accounting period in which the income is earned.
  • Due to/due from journal entries are created as needed

Fundraising Management

iMIS takes donor management to new heights by providing the tools you need to inspire, acquire, retain, and develop a more meaningful relationship with your donors.

With both online and mobile access to your organization, your donors can tap into your resources, share insights with others who are also committed to your cause, update their own data, purchase products, and register for your events. They can even become fundraisers themselves with peer-to-peer tools that expand your organization’s visibility and reach. Your organization can plan, execute and measure your fundraising campaigns to maximize revenue.
